Why Learn Nepali Words with "ढ"?

The letter ढ (DHA) is an aspirated retroflex consonant. To pronounce it, your tongue curls back to the roof of your mouth while you release a strong puff of air (breath). For children, the word ढोका (Dhoka - Door) is the easiest example to recognize. Learning 'ढ' helps kids understand traditional Nepali culture, like eating ढिँडो (Dhindo) or seeing a traditional ढिकी (Dhiki) in the village!
